The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed about the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because status sassa of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area each day. The services level designed for intervention encounters a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to empower the servicing of all prospects and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
